Andros Museum is housed in a modern building erected in Chora, the capital of the island, at the expense of the Vasilis and Elisa Goulandris Foundation, and has been open to the public since 1981. The objects on display include finds from excavations on the island, mainly from Zagora and Palaiopoli.
