The Lemnos Archaeological Museum at Romeikos Yialos, Myrina, houses finds from the excavations by the XX Ephorate of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities, mainly at Myrina, and by the Italian Archaeological School of Athens at Poliochni, Hephaistia and the Kabeirion. It also contains exhibits retrieved from all over Lemnos, items handed in to the Museum and donations from private collections, as well as antiquities from Imbros, rescued by the metropolitan bishop of Imbros, Ioakeim, just before the Asia Minor Disaster in 1922.
